Eligibility & entry requirements
- Bachelor's — 12th-grade completion with 12 years of schooling; some programmes require an additional foundation year (Extra 4th year).

- Medicine (English MBBS) — IMAT exam is the sole entry route to English-taught MBBS at public universities.
- English / Italian proof — IELTS 6.0+ for English programmes; B1/B2 Italian for Italian-taught programmes.

Italian Type-D student visa from the UAE
Non-EU students file the Type-D long-stay student visa at the Italian Consulate in Dubai after pre-enrolment through Universitaly. On arrival you apply for the Permesso di Soggiorno.
