Refund Policy

How service fees, third-party charges and cancellations are handled at Stanford Global Education.

  • Updated August 2026
  • Dubai · Oud Metha
  • UAE law applies

We keep our fee structure simple and written down before you pay anything. This policy explains which of our charges can be refunded, which third-party fees cannot, how long a refund takes, and exactly how to raise a request with our Oud Metha team in Dubai.

01

Services that are always free

No payment is required to explore your options with us. The following are provided at no cost and therefore carry no refund:

  • The first 30-minute counselling session, in person or online.
  • Course and university shortlisting for your profile.
  • Eligibility and budget assessment for your chosen destination.
02

Our service fees

Where a paid package applies — for example end-to-end admission handling, SOP and document preparation, or visa filing support — the fee, scope and payment schedule are stated in your engagement letter before you pay.

  • Before work begins: 100% of the service fee is refundable if you cancel in writing within 7 days of payment and no applications have been submitted.
  • Applications submitted: the portion of the fee tied to completed stages is retained; any unused, unstarted stage is refunded on a pro-rata basis.
  • Service completed: once offers are secured and visa documentation is filed, the service fee is non-refundable.
03

Third-party fees are non-refundable

University application fees, tuition deposits, embassy and visa fees, biometrics, IELTS/PTE test fees, attestation, courier and insurance charges are collected by third parties, not by us. Once paid to that university, embassy or provider, they follow that organisation's own refund rules. We will always help you file a refund claim with them, but we cannot guarantee the outcome or refund those amounts ourselves.

04

Visa refusals and admission rejections

Admission and visa decisions rest entirely with universities and government authorities. A refusal is not, on its own, grounds for a refund of our service fee, because the work of preparing and filing your application has already been delivered. Where a refusal is caused by a documented error on our side, we will re-file at no additional service charge or refund the affected stage in full.

05

How to request a refund

  • Email admission@stanfordglobaleducation.com with your full name, the service purchased and the payment receipt.
  • We acknowledge every request within 2 working days.
  • Eligible refunds are approved within 7 working days of acknowledgement.
  • Funds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 10–14 working days, depending on your bank.
