Privacy Policy

What personal data we collect from students and families, why we need it, and the control you keep over it.

  • Updated August 2026
  • Dubai · Oud Metha
  • UAE law applies

Study-abroad applications involve sensitive documents — transcripts, passports, bank statements. We collect only what a university or embassy actually requires, store it securely, and never sell it. This policy explains exactly how your information moves through our process.

01

Who we are

Stanford Global Education ("we", "us") is an educational consultancy registered in the UAE, based at Office No 203 B, 2nd Floor, Business Atrium Building, Oud Metha, Dubai. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

02

Information we collect

  • Contact details you submit through forms, calls or WhatsApp — name, email, phone, emirate.
  • Academic details for counselling — transcripts, grades, IELTS/PTE scores, work experience.
  • Identity and financial documents for visa filing — passport copy, Emirates ID, bank statements, sponsor letters. Collected only once you engage us.
  • Website usage data — cookies, IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, for analytics.
03

How we use your information

  • To deliver the counselling, admission and visa services you request.
  • To submit applications to the universities you shortlist and approve.
  • To prepare visa files for the relevant embassy or visa centre.
  • To respond to enquiries and improve our service quality.
  • To send intake, scholarship and event updates — only if you opt in.
04

Who we share it with

We share your data with the universities you choose to apply to, embassies and visa centres processing your application, and — with your consent — trusted partners for accommodation, insurance, forex or education loans. We use reputable providers for email, storage and analytics. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

05

Storage, security and retention

Documents are held in access-controlled cloud storage, and only counsellors working on your file can open them. Client files are retained for up to five years after your last engagement, or longer where UAE law requires. Enquiry-only records are deleted within 24 months of your last contact.

06

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

  • Provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your data, where no legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep it.
  • Stop sending you marketing messages.

Email admission@stanfordglobaleducation.com and we will respond within 30 days.

07

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand which pages help students most. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this website.
