Eligibility & entry requirements
- Bachelor's — 12th grade + often a Studienkolleg year, or a Feststellungsprüfung; German B1–B2 for German-taught programmes.
- Master's — Recognised 3–4 year bachelor's; discipline-specific prerequisites strictly checked.
- English proof — IELTS 6.5+ for English-taught Master's; TOEFL and PTE accepted at most institutions.
- German proof — TestDaF or DSH for German-taught programmes; APS certificate for some nationalities.
