Frequently asked questions

Straight answers from our Dubai-based Australia admission counsellors.

As of May 2024, the Department of Home Affairs requires AUD 29,710 per year of living funds, in addition to first-year tuition and travel funds. You can show this through parent bank statements, education loans or sponsor affidavits with supporting income proof.

The GS framework replaced GTE in March 2024. You answer structured questions about your study plan, why the chosen course, ties to the UAE, and post-study intent. It's assessed alongside your academic and financial profile — templated or copied answers are being refused. Our counsellors draft this with you.

The Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate visa allows 2 years for bachelor's, 3 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD graduates (with some extra time for regional graduates). Check current settings on the Department of Home Affairs website before applying.
